Hi markobucko

Welcome to the Apple Community.

Wondering which iOS version is installed on your iPhone 11,

and

what you were doing when the iPhone became unresponsive, (eg. using an app / not in use / updating / etc.)

and

what you have tried, (restart, force restart, etc.)

and

if there were any error messages (update failed, locked because too many wrong passwords, activation lock, etc)

and

what the screen looks like now (blank , apple logo, apple logo with progress bar etc)

Thank you for your reply, markobucko.

So, if the storage was full, it urgently needed a backing up of the data to a computer, and deleting of some files.

If more items were added, the iPhone likely does not have enough memory / storage space in which to operate.

Sorry I do not know what is needed / possible in this unusual situation.

or whether the data on the iPhone could still be accessed from a computer, to ease the storage / memory load.

If the matter is complicated by the battery not charging, that could still be the main cause:

Battery replacement estimates (more like US$70 for iPhone11) can be obtained from the page below.

If this is not how you received that quote already:

It would seem best to take the iPhone to an Apple Store for a proper evaluation.

They will generally look into the matter, and give advice, or an estimate if work is necessary.

A "Genius Bar" reservation is recommended:

If you want to check if the iPhone has any warranty / Care coverage

You could enter it's serial number:

Hi,

thanks for the response

it’s my daughter’s phone (13).she has all the available updates but was getting a message saying storage was full for a few days .

she hands the phone over at night and in the morning ,it’s was unresponsive.

it’s like the battery is dead but I’ve left it on charge all day and iTunes doesn’t acknowledge a phone is connected .

phone is a year old and Apple say 380 to fix without even looking at it .
