Not receiving verification code in email for New ID

Creating a new ID hence assigning to an email address, when asked to verify email address and verification code has been sent, code is never getting through to the email address.

Therefore up to now I'm not able to complete setup of ID to start using AppStore.

iPhone 13, iOS 15
