I’m getting a message that the camera on my iPhone is an unknown part. It seems to be functioning fine. I didn’t have the camera replaced.

What other service was performed on this iPhone? Was it performed at an Apple Store or Authorized Apple Service Center?

No services were performed on this iPhone. One day the flashlight did not work. I turned the phone off and back on and the flashlight worked but I got this error message. I had support do a scan and the camera is unrecognizable. The camera has worked fine and so has the flashlight.
I cannot imagine what sort of assistance you are seeking here.
Per the article linked above, you might check Settings > General > Parts and Service History to see what appears to be wrong (perhaps incorrectly). Or you might consider whether you received the iPhone in an original factory sealed box, dropped or otherwise damaged it, etc.
It worked just fine for the first 8 months. Why all of the sudden this message? The guy at the store thought there may be a bug in the software that would fix itself with the next update but that did not happen. It's just frustrating - I paid full price for the phone at the Apple Store - no 3rd party anything here.
I am getting this error message but have not replaced the camera. It seems to be working fine? Anyone else having this issue
