iOS update

I’m trying to update Facebook and giggle but it doesn’t let me update it says I have to update iOS version of something but I went to my iOS update it does not shows that I have to do any kind of update

iPhone 6, iOS 12

You can’t update your 8 year old phone higher than iOS 12.5.6, and neither Facebook nor Google support version 12 anymore. Your only option if you want those apps is to get a newer phone. You can still access both using Safari on the web.
