Skeuomorphic page turning gone!! 🙄😞

I just updated to iOS 16 - I loved the way the pages would turn, simulating a real book - WHY would Apple eliminate such a cool feature??! It’s so boring now!! Is there an option to revert back to that??

How to revert books app to iOS 15 i upgraded to iOS 16. But it effected the books app. It made the page turning worse and now there is no fast highlighting. ie in previous version you have sleek page turn, now you have flash page turn. in the past you can quick highlight with pressure and time on certain sentences. Now requires two button pushes.

Page turning animation in Books now gone Is there any way to change Books back to the page turning animation that simulates an actual paper page, like it did in previous iOS versions ?

Latest update 16.2 I love reading books on my 2nd generation iPad. After this update I may need to look into other reading options. It is horrible now. At the bottom of a page are partial (large) illegible numbers/words. The bookmark is atrocious. And, changing the schematics isn’t any help. As stated in a previous post, I like to know how many pages left in a chapter. Not remaining in the book. I liked the bookmark in the upper right hand corner. Not a blur on the bottom. I even went through settings and nothing I changed helped. Will there be a fix to this messed up version? Or, is there a way to revert back to the previous update?.

Who removes a feature and calls it progress? It's enough to make me move back to the Nook app.
