Will the crash detection be made available in a later software update?
This is a user to user community forum where volunteers try to help other Apple users with technical issues. We have no idea what Apple is planning. But I suspect it’s more a matter of hardware capability, not software. The two models you mention definitely do not have the hardware for satellite calling which is part of crash detection. It would not be available on watch series 7. and previous iphone models.
it is a “feature” to Watch series 8 and iphone 14 line up respectively even though the hardware is there to support thats just Apple is lol
Perhaps you are thinking of hardware for fall detection, nor crash detection.

Will the crash detection be made available later for IPhone Pro Max and Apple Watch 7? I’m sure it is just a matter of a software update and the sensors existing can read the situation?
