Defect iPhone 14 Pro Max 14 days used ( display problem )

Anybody have problem like this?

i just bought iPhone 14 pro max 2 weeks ago from one of the apple authorized reseller in indonesia, and now i noticed horizontal clouding on the display when in low light environment ( lowest brightness ) it only can be seen on dark grey color.

the device still 100% new no scratch no dent.

i already contacted apple support but they said it only can be repair if hardware problem, no whole replacement for a new defect flagship device 😅.

Yesterday i have visited the apple authorized service provider.

they checked and confirmed no physical damage.

they told me they will do the diagnostic first to try software restore or something, but my data will be wipe.

i said its ok even i knew its not a software issue, but they said even its determine to be a manufacturing defect they cannot replace whole unit. They only can help to repair the display for free. and need to check whether they have the spare parts or no, if no then i need to wait till the parts available.

i attached the pic of the phone i guarantee not even a scratch on it.

If an Apple Technician determines that this issue is a manufacturing defect, the standard Apple warranty should cover either a repair or replacement. They cannot make this assessment "over the phone." You will have to visit your local Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider to have them verify this issue you are having with your phone.
