You can create a stereo pair from the Home App.
Apple has instructions for this in Set up a HomePod stereo pair
- In the Home app on your iOS or iPadOS device, touch and hold a HomePod.
- Scroll down, then tap the gear icon.
- Tap Create Stereo Pair and follow the onscreen instructions.
