The Default Browser option for s not available in Settings, Safari, should have Default Browser as an option but the field is missing. How can I restore it? I’ve tried a Reset

The Default Browser option should be in one of the other browser apps you have installed, not in Safari directly.

Not all browsers may offer the option though.

If you have Chrome or Firefox, check their entry in Settings for the "Default Browser app" option.

I was trying to make sure Google wasn’t involved and I did have the app but deleted it. Excuse my ignorance please as I’m trying to figure things out. In my mind I would think if Safari is the only Browser then the setting would be there. My bad. Would you maybe be able to tell me why I have to select a Search Engine when using Safari? I thought Safari was its own Search Engine but in Settngs under Safari you have to choose one. To add to my confusion when I tap the Safari app there’s no indication that you are truly using Safari. That’s how I would get online when I had Google installed as well. Thanks for your patience and input
