Hello Gilly52lou,

Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Communities.

We understand you're trying to set up Apple Cash, but getting an error message, right?

If we have that correct, let's confirm that you have the latest iOS version installed on your iPhone. This can be related to issues with setting up Apple Cash, if you haven't updated recently. Be sure to back up your iPhone before installing any new updates, and you can find steps to help with this here: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

If you have the latest iOS version installed, confirm that you meet each requirement to set up Apple Cash. We'll include these details below, and you can locate additional helpful information here: Set up Apple Cash - Apple Support

What you need

• Be at least 18 years old and live in the United States.

• Have a compatible device with the latest iOS, iPadOS, or watchOS.

• Set up two-factor authentication for your Apple ID

• Sign in to iCloud with the same Apple ID on any device that you want to use to send or receive money.

• Add an eligible debit card in the Wallet app, so you can send money.

Restart your iPhone and try setting this up again after confirming the requirements are met. Let us know what you find, and confirm what exactly the message states. We'll have a clearer understanding of what's happening with these details.

Take care!
