How to cancel Apple TV

I signed up to a 3 month free trial which I cancelled within 30 minutes. It didn't cancel and I have received an email telling me I will have to start to pay from 3rd December. I have been searching and searching on TV and PC for how to do this but they make it as difficult as possible. I went to settings on Apple TV but the 3 months free trial with £6.00 per month is greyed out so I can't alter the subscription there. I tried on PC and I currently have 7 different Apple windows open. It tells me that I have to download the iTunes App to be able to do it. I don't want to download it to the PC. Surely there must be a simple way. It wasn't this difficult to set up but I have wasted most of the day trying. There is no contact link at the bottom of any of the pages to try to contact anybody. TIA.

Log in to https://tv.apple.com and you should be able to cancel it from there if it has not already been cancelled.

Did you follow the steps in the link provided?

Choose the account icon at the top of the page. (If you don't see the account icon, tap or click Sign in, then sign in with your Apple ID.)
Choose Settings.
Scroll to Subscriptions and choose Manage.
Choose Cancel Subscription.

If there is no option to cancel it there, or no subscriptions section then it means it's already been cancelled and there's nothing more to do.

I have been touring that site for hours but can't cancel via that. Where is the cancellation option hidden on that site? I can't cancel on the TV either as the subscription I am currently signed up to is greyed out. It is also greyed out on the PC version from the link you have supplied. There is no cancellation option shown on either device. How do I contact customer support? I have no intention of paying for a service I decided I would not have any used for after half an hour. The cancellation I found straight after I signed up didn't work either.

ok, thank you. I didn't get a confirmation email about the cancellation though. I will use this as proof I have tried everything to cancel if they renew it in December. Thank you for your help though.

There is no confirmation email. It just cancels.

It should have an expiry date if it's still active, but has been cancelled, and is just waiting for the end of the billing period.
