If you want to change the region of your Apple ID account, then there are some considerations:
- You will have to cancel any ongoing subscriptions,
- Your previous purchases (music, movies, books) may not be available in the Store in the new region.
- You will need a payment method as issued in the new region.
- Some (third party) services restrict access based on geolocation, regardless of any region setting.
It is really intended for users that emigrate long term.
