Use of Screen Mirroring to Display Photos on a TV

I have about 2,000 JPG photos stored on my Mac. I have finally mastered the use of Screen Mirroring in order to move photos to my TV screen. I have the photos stored on a flash drive, and in the Pictures folder on the computer. Each folder comprises sixty photos (a holdover from the original slides that I converted. By clicking on the file name listed in the folder the photo shows up on the TV. By clicking on the green dot in the upper lefthand corner the photo can be shown in full screen mode. To move on to the next photo, one reduces the photo size so one can then remove the photo and then choose another photo from a folder on which to double-click to move it to the TV.

The process works, but it is a bit cumbersome. I would like to be able to "push a button" and automatically move on to the next photo stored in the folder without going through the process of removing a photo before selecting the next one. Is there software available (at a reasonable price) that accomplishes such? Or, can the photos be arranged in another format that would enable me to achieve what I am now doing?

Thanks for any thoughts!

You can easily create such a slideshow using Photos (built into your Mac) and stream it to your TV either through an Apple TV device, AirPlay 2, or a direct connection. Create slideshows in Photos on Mac - Apple Support

Went through the mirroring drill successfully (thanks to you). What I am trying to do is set up a series of albums under My Albums in Photos. When it came to setting up a second album (of maybe ten planned altogether), the system says to use the Album Pop-Up menu for the location where I want to place the photos. Here is where I get stuck. The system wants to place them in the first album that was successfully set up. But, I don't want 1,000 photos in one album, but maybe 100 photos in each of ten albums. How do I access the Pop-Up menu? I tried using New Album, etc., but to no avail. If feasible, I want to set up ten separate albums under My Albums.
