Calendar Problem

I just installed the software update 16.1.1 this morning. My 2022 calendar is now almost completely blank (except for a few corrupted entries in January - see below), and it is also responding very slowly. Please help!

OK, some troubleshooting steps:

  • Go to Settings/Calendar/Accounts
  • Tap on each account listed; if the switch for calendars is turned on, turn it off (there may be only one)
  • Open the calendar app; to you see “garbage” or just a blank calendar?
  • Turn on just one and go to the Calendar app and see how it looks
  • Turn it off, and repeat with the next calendar


Next, check the calendar data sources:
