Ipad - restore folder from backup

I had to delete and reinstall an app. Unbeknownst to me the folder that contained all the associated files would be overwritten when I reinstalled the app. So, all of me files are gone. Luckily, I have daily backup to iCloud turned on.

is there a way for me to restore a single folder from backup? Or, do I have to reset the entire iPad in order to recover this single folder?

and, I have to do this before the next backup overwrites the older backup!

I have an iPad Pro version 3

Restoring from backup is all or nothing - not selective.

For future reference, should deletion and re-installation of an App ever be necessary, offload the App instead of delete. Offloading removes the App but preserves the associated data; deletion removes the App and the associated App-data.
