Update apple id?

Why am I constantly being asked to update my apple id since updating to ios16? My password has not changed for quite some time. I know I’m using my correct password.

Then I was directed to open a ‘secure2.store.apple.com? I’m confused what is happening with this second apple id.

I prefer to keep one.

I cannot eraise wrong Apple ID When I try to use some apps, they ask for my Apple ID password, so I try to put in the correct one. But it shows the wrong Apple ID and requests my password for that wrong ID. Therefore, I want to change the wrong Apple ID to the correct one, but I never am able to change that wrong Apple ID. So I &cannot use some apps also cannot update those apps.

Update Apple ID Settings Settings that says "Update Apple ID Settings" then "Some account services require you to sign in again" press continue then up pops a screen asking for the password for my old Apple ID (which is my old email address) with no way to enter my new Apple ID (new email address). I can't find where it is pulling this from

You may be being asked to update the payment method for your Apple ID→Add a payment method to your Apple ID - Apple Support
