Can you buy an AirPort Time Capsule? If not what can you use to back up your computers?

Not any more. Apple discontinued the Time Capsules a few years ago.

You can use any standard external hard drive to backup a Mac.

Time to replace my Time Capsule. What are my best options? Loved the functionality of Time Capsule. All our Apple equipment backs up to it. iPad and iPhones are backed up to our Macs and those automatically back up to Time Capsule. Plus it is also a fantastic router. Unfortunately it is getting a bit long in the tooth and the hard drive is starting to make noise. I need a solution before it stops working. Options???

Refurbished and used Time Capsules are available from Ebay if you want to back up to a Time Capsule.
