I have a Chromecast (with Google TV) plugged in to one of my TVs and use the Apple TV plus app on it regularly. Recently, all videos play in the top right corner (picture attached). The menus all show up with the correct aspect ratio and resolution, but all video content gets shrunk down. This is very recent (last few days), and content that used to play fine has the problem. Other apps on the Chromecast have no problems.
I called Google support - they had me reset the Chromecast (under settings from the main Google screen - choose System>Restart.
This cleared the issue for me.
