Received a text said Apple : acct was locked and need to verification of the acct.\

Does APPLE send these notices out?

If your Apple IDs locked you wouldn't be able to log into this forum.

Apple does not send texts saying your Apple ID is locked.

Both of the above things indicates that it is phishing.

No, and if your account was locked you would be notified when attempting to log into this forum.

If your account is locked (and you if you only have one Apple account) it would be locked no matter which device you used to access the account.

on my other phone received the message Iam on my desktop now

so if its locked i cant use the phone correct could it be phishing
