Can Numbers show more digits after the decimal point for cell sizes?

If I set the width of a cell to, say, 123.4 pt, the Format/Arrange/Width field only shows "123" even though the cell is clearly a bit wider than it was when set to 123 pt. This means that Numbers can set field widths to fractional point sizes, but only displays them to the nearest point. Is it possible to see more digits in the various size/position fields?

Looking back at my question I think I was not very clear. To reproduce my issue, create a new table, then drag it to a new arbitrary width. Suppose the width appears in the Format/Arrange/Width field as 275 points. Now type 275 into the same field. The width of the table will slightly change, indicating that there are extra hidden digits in the width field.

The same thing happens if to column or row widths if you create a table and resize it. The column width might read, say, 92 pt after resizing the entire table, but upon typing in "92" into the width field the column will slightly change.

So I think that when you type in a number it is rounded to the nearest point, but when you drag a table, row, or column there are extra hidden digits.

The relevance of all of this is that I am trying to make a large spreadsheet that is made of a number of individual tables that I would like to be nicely aligned. They sometimes don't quite line up, even though looking at their various width/height fields they should. I can fix the issue by re-typing the field values, which evidently rounds them to integer values. But there is no way to see which fields are at fault, because the extra digits are not shown.

I see it now. I don't do many things that require precise positioning and alignment so never noticed that this was going on.

Short answer is no, there is no way to type in more digits. It appears that we have more control with dragging (maybe down to the pixel) than with the numeric entry. Showing more decimal digits might lessen the problem but would not quite get rid of it. There are three units of measure available for the numeric entry: points, inches, and centimeters. Conversions from one to another and from/to pixels is inexact. Maybe if they allowed pixels as the unit of measure an exact number could be used. It would be good, though, if they added more decimals. If nothing else it would indicate to the user that they are not on a point/inch/centimeter boundary. It would also be nice if dragging snapped to the chosen unit of measure (but could be overridden if desired) so that it would agree with the numeric entry without having to re-type the number.

I tried what you said but did not get the same results. I made two tables that had cell widths of 123 pt and aligned them so it would be easy to see if one changed. I selected one table and went to Format/Table/Column Width to change the cell widths. I tried to change all the cells widths in that table to 123.4 pt. It made no difference and it jumped back to 123 pt. When I tried 123.5, it jumped to 124 and changed the widths to 124 pt. I then went to Format/Arrange/Width and set the table (not cell) widths of both tables to 123 pt. When I then tried changing one to 123.4, it jumped back to 123. When I tried 123.5, it jumped up to 124.
