Secure Link to Itunes Store failed
I'm writing not because of the question, but because I found the answer to this annoying issue.
Repair iTunes, Repair Bonjour, ipconfig release / renew, and reset the winsock catalog.
Start with the renew/release and winsock catalog, reboot. Repair iTunes and Bonjour, do another renew/release / catalog reset, reboot. Try your connection. If you still cannot connect to the apple server, and it is not down--keep resetting the winsock catalog. I had to do it four times, and then it connected.
