Sync icloud across devices

I recently Got ia Samsung Flip and I want to sync my i cloud across devices. I know about the Samsung Smart Switch feature but this doesn't help me sync my cloud device like the Google Drive and Microsoft outlook,which are both capable of syncing so it should be feasible that the iCloud should be able to as well however adding this network requires input terminologies that I don't know how to answer. For example it asks whether it's ftp or a SftpF network storageand so on... anyone know how to do this?
