Volume problem
I updated my iPhone 12 Pro Max on Saturday to iOS 16.1.1. Now I can hardly hear anyone I’m talking to unless my phone is connected to something via bluetooth or on speaker. It sounds like they are in a bucket. Help?

It sounds like you've done some great isolating steps. Try the following steps: If you can't make or receive calls on your iPhone - Apple Support
Remove your case, if applicable, and test without it. If the issue continues, test in a few locations and see if that makes any difference. Also, test in FaceTime, if possible, and let us know what happens.
