Hello Angryclick,
If you're referring to the back < button in your Safari toolbar, this can be moved by customizing your toolbar. Customize the Safari browser window on Mac will guide you through moving items in your toolbar.

Cheers!
Angryclick,
Sorry about that. We'd like to provide you with a few steps that can assist you with getting Safari working as expected on your
iPhone 13 Pro.
• Restart your device. Turn off your device and turn it on again. This allows your phone
and the software to be refreshed.
1. Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears.
2. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
3. To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo.
• Clear website data
You can clear website data occasionally to improve Safari performance.
• Turn on JavaScript
Turn on JavaScript if it's not already on.
1. Go to Settings > Safari > Advanced.
2. Find the JavaScript feature.
3. Tap the button to turn on JavaScript.
• Update iOS on iPhone. This is to ensure that your phone has all the latest fixes. Secure your data with a backup before proceeding.
We hope this helps.
Have a wonderful day!
This is about the scroll position within the page. Hitting back returned me to the previous scroll position prior to the latest iOS major update. Now it only works a small fraction of the time.
The problem is on iPhone 13pro not on Mac:(
