I have two Apple AirPort Extreme Base Stations ME918LL/A . Both are running. I have a mid 2011 Imac and 2013 Ipad Airs but I'm planning on buying new models soon. Will my Airport Extremes still work with these? And if so, any recommendations? I willl still be using the other devices. Will they work with a new router? Thanks for any help/

Sorry, not clear on what "other devices" you will be using. Without knowing more about the "new" router, all that we can say is that the other devices should work with any new router.
I have many Macs and iPads and other iOS devices even older than those. They all work with that model AEBS and other Apple Wi-Fi devices of similar age.
So the new Imac and Ipad Air will work with the old Airport Extremes?
