My Macbook Pro M1 Pro 16" 32GB always turns on fans when charging. Temperatures don't seem to be that high that fans would be needed (no higher than 50°C). The fans run at around 1500 RPM and turn off soon after removing charger. Is this normal? These macbooks seem to be known for not turning on fans ever, so it seems a little weird that it would do this. I can do intensive tasks on battery power and no fans come on, but just browsing with the charger connected turns on the fans. Charger is 140W. Doesn't matter if on a desk or on the lap. Ventura 13.0.1.
If the Mac is on the fans are on..
1500 RPM is barely idle speed....(?)
I do have a note here:
Fan speed for the M1, M1pro, M1max—
if the system reaches 95 C or the steady system temperature above 60 C fans kick in at 1500 rpm.
