Focus/do not disturb forces calls to voicemail

Since upgrading to IOS 16, I have a problem where my phone will automatically send incoming calls to voice mail before it rings the first time. I believe it has something to do with Focus/Do Not Disturb, but cannot find a way to turn off either. Everything I see on this site shows how to turn them ON, but there is nothing about turning them off.

It is a little hidden how to handle DND now, but you access it via the Control Center. Tap on the crescent moon icon to turn on and it will show DND on, then tap again and it will show it off.

Top photo is with DND on.

Bottom photo is with DND off.

Thank you for your information. What is unclear from all I could find on the apple web site is if there is an "off" for focus. DND can be turned on and off, but there is no way described to turn off focus. If OFF is the default setting and it only is on when you build a schedule or create some event, that would be good to know.f and

Currently, I have DND off and no events on Focus. I will see if my calls are blocked going forward. Thanks
