How to opt out of Automatic Billing Updater for Apple Card?

There is a feature called "Automatic Billing Updater" from Mastercard. This seems to be default for all Apple cards. This features allows recurring payments (like your phone bill) to be automatically shifted to a new number, if a new credit card number is issued.

I am trying to OPT OUT from this feature, what is possible to be done through any credit card issuer, but Apple Card = Goldman Sachs tells me this is a Mastercard issue, when I can Mastercard, they will tell me it is a Goldman Sachs issue. After 2 hours in 3 times being ping-poing'd between Goldman Sachs -- this is without solution.

Once again, it is possible to OPT OUT from the "Automatic Billing Updater", but Goldman Sachs consistently declines to act by saying this feature is owned by Mastercard and only they can do something. Mastercard says they don't see customer information, so they can't do anything.

This is ridiculous. This is commonly done by the issuer, for example: https://www.susserbank.com/automatic-billing-updater-service/

Two Goldman Sachs supervisors told it was possible to opt out. Last call a MasterCard manager talked to a Goldman Sachs supervisor directly on my behalf, and the supervisor also answered it was possible to opt out. HOWEVER, it seems Goldman Sachs seems to misunderstand the process. Goldman Sachs must opt out on my behalf to Mastercard because Mastercard doesn’t own the relationship. The Mastercard Manager was surprised by the level of “throwing over the fence” attitude that Goldman Sachs says it is something I need to do directly with Mastercard

in conclusion, OPT OUT is possible, Goldman Sachs doesn’t seem to care about these requests
