Old address being used to ship product from Apple Store?
I purchased an Apple Watch Ultra from the Apple Store and it was shipped to an address I haven’t used in 5 years. I have had 3 items shipped the same way in the past year and all came to my current address no problem. After speaking with Customer Support I was told that my old address was not even on file. I had a replacement Watch shipped and it was given the same old shipping address despite talking with Customer Support to change to my current address. 4 calls I’ve made so far to Customer Support to correct this issue and still have not received my watch to my current actual default shipping address. As a software engineer and UX Designer I’m wondering if there is a glitch in their software flow causing the shipping information to be pre-populated incorrectly with bad data. It’s very frustrating to not only not receive what you paid for, but also continue to see the issue persist. I’ve looked everywhere that has been suggested to try and eliminate wherever this old address is being pulled from to no avail. I haven’t used the address in 5 years and just last week this occurred.
