Unable to recognize SIM card after iOS update

ios 16.1.1 was updated in my iphone se . after updating the phone is not recognizing the SIM card it is holding. Calls are not going out. Callers calling the number getting message "phone is out of coverage area". We have switched the SIM to Old Iphone 6. it is working there. what should I do with my new Iphone SE to get it working with the SIM?

Remove your SIM card from the SIM card tray and then put the SIM card back. ... Make sure that the SIM tray closes completely and isn't loose. If you use a SIM tray from a different model iPhone, iPad, or from another phone manufacturer, it might not fit properly.


If you see 'invalid SIM' or 'no SIM' on your iPhone or iPad ...

To be able to use any SIM across the globe you must have "No SIM Restriction" against Network Provider Lock. Please refer to the pic below.

Many users who have updated to iOS 16 and above must have a similar issue if the issues stated by you is due to the iOS.

Unless you state what the issue is many in this forum may not be able to respond positively to the issue you are facing.
