So bad iphone/ipad virtual keyboard This keyboard is so bad that if you want to move the cursor in the middle of the text most of the time it comes at the end and it choose the whole text otherwise. The key distance is so less that it leads to typo. iphone claims as the most premium brand but don't expect this kind of awful keyboard. how to get rid of the small keyboard on ipad pro? I have an iPad to aid my vision and my awkward fingers. If I wanted a SMALL KEYBOARD FLOATING around, I would just stick with small iPhones. This “writing tool” is a major pain and a major step BACKWARDS. How can I make it disappear and return to the old half screen mode?

Touch-and-hold the “keyboard” key at bottom-right of the on-screen keyboard; without lifting your finger from the screen, slide your finger to the [Merge &] Dock option - then release.
