"Live" photos automatically switching on

"Live" photos automatically switches on when I take photos on my iPhone despite turning it off in Settings > Camera > Preserve Settings > Live Photo and, also, on the icon on phone itself when the camera is open

Any ideas for how I solve this issue?

Thank you

Greetings Jerry Dammers,

Just to clarify, in Settings > Camera > Preserve Settings do you have Live Photo enabled? If not, enable it. When it is enabled, then it will preserve the Live Photo setting you had last set. If setting is disabled, Live Photo will then reset to Live Photo on each time you launch the Camera app.

Also, are you force quitting the Camera or leaving it in its suspended state? If you’re force quitting the Camera app after each use, try leaving it in it’s suspended state and testing again.

Thanks.
