iPad Mini MD528LL/A (1st gen) can receive ibooks via airdrop but cannot send

I have an old iPad Mini MD528LL/A (1st gen). I've successfully sent an ibook from my iPhone 14 to my iPad Mini, but I can't do the reverse: send from iPad Mini to iPhone. The iPad Mini is, of course, stuck on IOS 9.3.5. Since Google no longer gives me access to my Gmail account on this iPad Mini, it seems that I have no way to move my ibooks from the iPad to the iPhone. Is there a way?
