May I purchase AppleCare after expiration date of limited warranty

I want to purchase this warranty but I am literally one day after the expiration date...any chance Apple will allow?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 13.0

For the last few years AppleCare has only been available within 60 days of purchase of the new device. See the following from AppleCare Products - Mac - Apple

How to buy

Purchase AppleCare+ with your new Mac.
Or buy it within 60 days of your Mac purchase:

- On your device (go to  > About This Mac > Support)
- Online (requires you to verify your serial number)
- At an Apple Store (inspection of Mac and proof of purchase are required)
- By calling 800-275-2273

Yeah I saw that I wasn't sure if anyone might know of possible exceptions considering the last day for me to be able to purchase was yesterday. I will call when I get off work and see what my options are if any.

Sorry, I thought you meant after 1 year (which is the limited warranty expiration date and used to be the last date to buy AppleCare).
