Trade in question

I ordered for a iphone 14 pro with trade in my current device. Delivery date of my order showing Dec 28 2022, which more than 30 days from now. Order details shows once I recive the trade in kit i have to send my current device within 14 days.

How can send my current device without receiving the new device?

Will they send me the trade in kit , only after delivering the iphone 14?
