How to (re)move filter button in Mail.app in Monterey?

Don't need Filter button, but would strongly prefer to move immovable Filter button to opposite side of toolbar. Would most prefer to remove Filter button, period. How can do either?

How to customize Mail toolbar MacBook Air 2022 How can I rearrange Mail tool bar on MBAir 2022 with Ventura? I don't like the Delete item at the extreme right end of the bar. I can open the option in View ro Customize toolbar but am unable to make any changes.

AFAICT, we can't remove it, and we can't move it, either.

I don't have much need for it either, but it does not bother me.
