Can I add RAM to a Mac mini 2020, M1
Can I add RAM to a Mac mini 2020, M1? I bought it with 8GB and I'm not really pleased with the performance (heavy use of Adobe CS). Would like to double it to 16GB.
Mac mini, macOS 10.15

FWIW, my years of experience with Adobe products (Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.) I have learned that their "minimum" RAM spec is a total joke. On Mac since around 2011 or so, 16 GB to me would be a minimum for any decent performance from their products.

No, unfortunately, not possible.
Nope' you have to configure the M1 Mac mini at the time of purchase.
Thanks for your responses - I was afraid that would be the answer.
I'm disappointed in Apple's insistence on a closed system but it's all about the money, isn't it?
No, it’s integrated into the chip - physically impossible.
