MacBook Air
Hello jazz-guy512,
Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Communities. We're happy to look into this with you. Is it possible you are using some of the battery protection features, that would limit charging? Does your MacBook every show it's fully charged?
Charge your MacBook Air or MacBook Pro - Apple Support (MT)
If your Mac has a MagSafe 3 port, you can use the USB-C to MagSafe 3 Cable to charge your Mac. Connect the USB-C power adapter to a power outlet, then connect the USB-C to MagSafe 3 Cable to the power adapter and to the MagSafe 3 port on your Mac. After you connect the charger, the indicator light glows green if your battery is fully charged. If your battery is charging or charging is on hold, the indicator light glows amber.
Have you tried restarting your MacBook or connecting to a different port, to see if that changes the behavior? If not, give that a try and see if it helps.
Shut down or restart your Mac - Apple Support
Best regards.
