When I have multiple Safari windows open, I can click-and-hold the Safari icon in the dock (or press F10) and I get a nice Expose with just Safari windows. Is there a way I can close windows directly from Expose? I tried a few key combinations with no luck.
You can hold your mouse down on the dock icon for the application you want to quit. This will bring it to an expose' type view. You can then hit quit. The fastest way to quit an app though is to press command-Q. I normally use that but whatever you prefer. Hope this helps!
The only way I know to close windows in expose is with an applescript. When such a script is used, expose kind of freaks out, the window closed in expose turns into a blue box.
Instead I use 'command + ~' to cycle through my open safari windows. and command + w to close windows. if you use tabs. you can use command + shift + right arrow. or command + shift + left arrow to cycle through the open tabs.
kind of u-releated, but if you have exposed activated, and you create a new window. the new window fails to appear. you have to re-activate exposed so it will update.
