iTunes on Apple TV/password

It is my itunes password. Same password I use to log into itunes from everything.

My location is correct.

I have now done a complete factory restore of my Apple TV. iTunes will still not recognize my password, so I cannot get any downloads, nor play any rented movies.
I can't think of anything else to do. I don't have applecare on the apple tv and it costs
$50 to call for tech help.

Could you please explain how to do that? Thanks.

I use an Apple Airport. My firewall is not blocking ports. Recently I changed ISPs.
Now cannot get my AT+T Microcell to work. Firefox also won't work, I get a message about
"the proxy server refusing connections". I am beginning to think this is all connected and part of changing ISPs. Am talking to their tech support now. They are talking about blocked ports on their DSL modem. It's the same modem I was using with the other ISP but different settings apparently. Nope. Now they just told me that my modem is in Bridge mode and would not be causing the issue and I should call Apple. I know that is not going to solve the problem. I guess I'm going to have to change back to the other ISP.

I called Apple. They said that my MODEM being in bridge mode does not mean that some things aren't blocked. We solved the Firefox problem by adding DNS. We solved the Apple TV problem by connecting directly to the DSL modem. At that point I had to hang up. But the plan is to reset the network, device by device. He said sometimes you have to do that after switching ISPs. My second AExBS is not connecting to the internet. I am supposed to shut down the network and start up each device one by one. Apple is calling me back tomorrow.

That should have said ...by adding open DNS...

My ipad(from the same room)
connects to my network and connects to the internet, but the AT and the Roku
both say they can connect to the network but not the internet. I was thinking that it was the wifi card in my AT, but now that doesn't make sense.
