Does apple pencil gen 5 work with gen 6

Was wondering if the Apple Pencil Gen 5 will work with Gen 6? Anyone know?

There are only two Apple Pencils - a first generation Pencil, and a second generation Pencil. The first and second generation Pencil use an entirely different pairing and charging interface.

As you’ll see, the fifth generation iPad (a.k.a. iPad5) does not support Apple Pencil at all. The sixth generation iPad (iPad6) supports the first generation Apple Pencil.
