Random .dat files appearing on my Mac

I have been getting random .dat files appearing on my Macbook. They open with VLC (which if you don't know is a music/video player) and when I play them, it is just a 0-second sound. They are just some random numbers with a .dat extension.

If someone knows what this is about please let me know.

I went into System Settings/Login Items setting and found this weird file that was turned on (green) with the name of GuangJun Song I have looked high and low online search and can not determine what this file is, where it is from, or what app it might be affiliated with. Infected file (or not)? Intego Virusbarrier (free version of Apple Store) has identified a file as an infected file XProtectRemediatorGenieo located in MacintoshHD/Library/Apple/System/Library/CoreServices/XProtect/Contents/MacOS/XProtectRemediatorGenieo I can see the file (by looking at the contents of the XProtect contents) and it says it was created on the same date as all the other files in the XProtect files (a week ago). Is anybody able to offer any advice any whether or not this is actually an infected file or a detection error. I am suspicious of the infection report (and now inclined to remove Intego) but would welcome any input. iMac Ventura 13.4

.js and chunk.js files appear in MacBook Air. Is this normal or is it a malware issue I had found around 500+ .js and chunk.js files within my Macbook Air. I don't know much about coding and computers. When I open them, there are lines and lines of text (or codes?). I find them annoying as they sometimes get in the way of finding my files. But I'm more worried about being hacked. Is having such files appear normal in Mac or is it possible I have malware issue?
