Hi there Monday1939,
We'd like to learn more to see how we can help with your iPad keyboard. Are you having issues with keys not responding for the onscreen keyboard or are you using an external keyboard with your iPad?
Have you ensured your iPad is running the latest software version, which is iPadOS 16.1.1? You can check that by going to Settings > General > About > Software Version. If needed, learn how to update your iPad here: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
Also, have you noticed this happening with specific apps on your iPad? Which keys aren't responding exactly?
Make sure you've tried a restart to see if that resolves the issue for you: Restart your iPad - Apple Support
Send over these details, and we'll take a closer look from there.
Cheers!
