A couple of days ago my iphone 11 started asking me to update my former apple ID password. I don't know how to make it stop.

Hi LilyK,

For help with ensuring your account settings are updating, test the steps below to ensure you're signed into the correct Apple ID. You can also find the steps in the article here: Sign in with your Apple ID

"Sign in on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap Sign in to your [device].
  3. On iPhone, sign in to your Apple ID in the Settings app
  4. Enter your Apple ID and password.
  5. If prompted, enter the six-digit verification code sent to your trusted device or phone number and complete sign in."

If you're signed into the correct Apple ID, the pop-up may be related to an app downloaded with the previous one. Delete and reinstall the app with your new Apple ID and the steps below.

Delete apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Download apps and games on your iPhone or iPad

Cheers.
