Different ways to verify identity

I’m trying to add my Apple Card to my wallet, but it’s asking me to update a photo ID take a picture of it. I have it in my phone I’m waiting for one. Is there another way that I could verify my identity maybe clip it to email or take a screenshot or some kind of link you can send me so I can add my Apple Card to my wallet because I’m having a hard time getting apps at all I can’t update mine account I can’t download apps without requiring verification with a credit card.

Hi laquetta1980,

Are you referring to verifying your identity when applying for the Apple Card? If so, test the steps below in the article here: Identity verification for Apple Card or Apple Cash

"How to verify your identity for Apple Card

If you're asked to scan your valid driver license or state ID when you apply for Apple Card,1 follow these steps:

  1. Scan the front of your photo ID and tap Continue.
  2. Scan the back of your photo ID and tap Continue.

To rescan your photo ID, tap Scan Again."

If you already have the card and are simply trying to add it, follow the steps here: How to add Apple Card to your Apple devices Be sure to also review the steps in the section "If you have trouble adding Apple Card to a new device."

If the issue continues, contact Apple Card support directly to further assist.
