I purchased a iPad Air 5th gen, I’m having a lot of trouble learning this device how much is the trade in value for an iMac

If purchased elsewhere, you need to check the return/refund policy on new purchased products.


The iPad Air 5th gen maybe to new to be listed for trade-in

Also, being a new iPad, Apple's trade-in partner may give you signifcantly less money in trade than you paid for thos brand new iPad model.


You should consider trying to sell this new iPad, yourself, and try to get as much for it as you can.

Sorry you are not happy with your new iPad, iPads are not very difficult to learn and navigate.

iOS/iPadOS devices are designed to be much easier to use than a Mac with macOS, which is much more complicated to learn and get around with every new version of macOS.

There are a lot of knowledgeable Apple iPad users, here that can help you be able to learn to use your new iPad more quickly and can help you locate specific Apple support articles to specific questions that can help you to learn your new iPad Air 5th gen more easily.


I have only given you a better headstart to how to learn to use an iPad/iPadOS.


Do what you will, but these support communities are a wealth of device user resources and helpful information and Apple support links to help you more easily learn any Apple computer or Apple iOS/iPadOS device.


I encourage you to take advantage of the wealth of user knowledge found, here, in these iPad user support communities, to be able to better learn your new and fairly expensivd iPad Air 5th generation.


Also, if you have any family members that use a tablet device and, specifically, an Apple iPad or iPhone, they can be of help and assistance to you, also, in learnimg more about your new iPad Air 5th gen.
