Home screen disappeared, can't turn off my iPhone

okay... i don't know what's wrong. i tried searching up what's wrong, i can't even restart my phone so that wasn't an option and i long pressed my screen but it doesn't even work. i have literally tried everything. i know i'm not hacked because i just restarted my phone a few weeks ago for another reason. i have all of my data but my phone doesn't even work properly. someone help me i've tried absolutely everything and if someone tells me to do something i already did i will lose my mind.

Hi sofie122,

From your description, it sounds like your iPhone may be frozen. Wit that said, you'll need to follow the steps outlined here: If your iPhone won't turn on or is frozen - Apple Support

"On your iPhone 8 or later, including iPhone SE (2nd and 3rd generation)

Press and quickly release the volume up button.
Press and quickly release the volume down button.
Press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.
If your phone doesn't turn on, follow these steps to check your hardware and charge your phone. You might need to charge for up to an hour.
If your phone still doesn't turn on, contact Apple Support.
