Notice of data leaks passwords on iPhone

I just received 3 high alerts on iPhone re them appearing in data leaks. One alert is for a site I have never visited and which is simply a website with no login functionality. The other two sites are completely different login credentials and yet coincidentally all 3 alerts just appeared together on my phone.

Is this some mistake from Apple? Doesn’t seem to make sense. I’ve never had this functionality before and suddenly get these 3 unrelated alerts.

Anyone experienced similar?

As a service to users, Apple provides security recommendations based on those that have appeared in known data leaks. It is recommended that you change any such passwords.

The "alerts" are scams designed to try to trick you into buying useless software or worse.....revealing your personal info about yourself.

If you click on any links in these messages, you are confirming your phone number and/or email address, so you can expect more of the same types of messages to appear in the future.

Thanks muguy. But what about the recommended site that I have never visited and that does not even have login functionality or other data capture? What’s that about please?
