iPhone 11 doesn't recognize my MacBook passcode in Apple ID Settings

I can't update Apple ID Settings because iPhone says my MacBook Air passcode is wrong. It isn't.

MacBook Air - Incorrect iPhone Passcode I just recently got my MacBook Air. I have logged in and everything. My iCloud is also logged in on my laptop. It gives me a settings warning about “Update Apple ID Settings,” saying some account services will not be available until you sign in again. I have tried numerous times to sign in, but I keep getting the same error. I have reset both my phone and macbook to no avail. I use my passcode daily because I don’t want to forget it, but it doesn’t work. I even changed my passcode and it still will not work. Can someone help?

passcode isn't working I just purchased a macbook air and all was going well getting it up and running, but it won't accept my phone passcode when trying to add my email address (other than icloud). What to do?

If you have a Macbook with multiple user accounts then please check if you are using the correct password against the Apple ID of the user.
