I had to reset and recover my iPad and iPhone awhile back changing my email, passwords etc…. My iPhone is not in sync with my iPad >which is up to date. How do I do this? I’m nervous to mess with it

Nothing syncs between devices. They either sync to iCloud or to an email server e.e. Google, AOL, Exchange, Outlook, Yahoo or any Other. Please see the pic below
